You take off in 10 meter / 32 foot Cougar Cat. Its quick, comfortable, stable and functional. She’s powered by 2 x 250hp Yamaha 4 stroke engines which hum along quietly and without smelly fumes. Onboard is a private toilet with a sink, running fresh water and hand soap. We have undercover seating and standing room.
Rods, reels, bait, tackle, soft drinks and water are included on all trips. We adhere strictly to all regulations and safety laws, safety is our top priority.

Our charter boat operator is based out of Cairns, in Tropical North Queensland, Australia. They offer half and full day guided fishing trips to Trinity Inlet (within walking distance from the CBD), and full day trips to some of the local rivers just south of Cairns.
Their newly restored 20’ Cairns Custom Craft boat is powered by a 90HP Honda outboard motor. It features a spacious deck with a large cover for shade and can comfortably accommodate up to six anglers. It also comes equipped with GPS, fish finder, VHF radio, live bait tank, and ice box for your drinks and snacks.

Cooktown is 330 km north of Cairns and can be reached by a scenic 4hour drive or a 30-minute flight out of Cairns. Its name comes from the Captain Cook as it where he came ashore to repair his ship when he ran aground on the reef. It is no wonder the main river is called the Endeavour River in this area of ideal fishing.
